Faculty of Law and Social Sciences

Functional responsibilities:

• Must have 5 years of work experience in the field of education, including at least 1 year in management positions

• Coordination of research work in the faculty and improvement of the faculty's scientific direction/strategy

• Determination of 1- and 5-year science-related plans of the faculty, KPI indicators and preparation of annual reports

• Organization of special seminars/trainings for faculty members/students for scientific development

• Establishment of external relations (local and international) in scientific directions of the faculty

• To support the Department of Science in forming the basis of scientific works of the faculty

• To be a member of the working group on the development of rules related to the research process of the university

• Processing and responding to science-related requests from the university administration or external supervisory bodies (for example: Science Committee)

• Teaching in accordance with the University's workload regulations

• Supervision of the quality content of the defense and pre-defense processes of master's and PhD students' diploma theses at the faculty

• Publication of scientific publications in their field.

Requirements:

• PhD, Associate Professor, Professor (VAK) in Social Sciences (International Relations or Journalism)

• Experience in leading scientific articles and scientific projects

• Education or experience abroad is preferred

• Work with documents, knowledge of news and trends in the education market

• Ability to work with a team

• Having written and oral literacy in Kazakh, Russian, and English

• The level of knowledge of the English language - Intermediate (Bl)
